Construction on the library addition began in December and will be completed by February. Wakefield Construction of Houghton Lake won the building contract.
Funds for the 30' by 40' building were made possible by a USDA Rual Development grant and a grant from the Crane Foundation, as well as many individual and group doanation, the most recent a sizable gift from the area Masons. Thank You Everyone! The August fundraiser held at the Luther Lions Clubs was also very helpful in making the addition possible. We are thankful to those who have donated and attended the fundraisers and to those who continue to support our library. This library is truly a community effort to be proud of!
